Demon of the dark
Those catacombs that lie so deep within that hallowed earth,
Of that consecrated church that you have known of since your birth,
Keep secrets of the past reflected in those nightmares so oblique,
That each person who now lives within its sphere finds utterly unique.
For in its bowels a being lurks who takes pleasure giving pain,
Just waiting there for their release...To walk the earth again,
In the night it howls for vengeance...That fiend trapped so long ago,
A demon of the dark who’s thoughts cry for those barriers to go.
So held since it was defeated in that battle long since past,
A prison built of brick and stone in hopes
